Biography:

Denji, also known as Chainsaw Man, is the titular protagonist of the manga and anime series *Chainsaw Man*. He first appears in the manga's first chapter, "A Dog and a Chainsaw," which was later adapted into the first episode of the anime adaptation.

Orphaned at a young age and burdened with his deceased father's immense debt to the yakuza, Denji eked out a meager existence as a Devil Hunter. He formed a contract with the Chainsaw Devil, Pochita, who took the form of a small chainsaw dog.

Following a brutal betrayal, Denji merges with Pochita, granting him the ability to transform into Chainsaw Man – a powerful hybrid with chainsaws emerging from his head and arms. He is then recruited into Public Safety Devil Hunters, where he navigates the dangerous world of Devils and attempts to live a somewhat normal life.
